Client story · Payments

Helping PaymentIQ / Worldline build and support a distributed engineering team.

Talentbyte has supported PaymentIQ, previously a part of Worldline, with remote engineering teams, local offices and the practical services around a team working across Ukraine, Romania and remote locations.

The need

Back in 2020, Worldline needed to extend engineering capacity while keeping the cost of the team in view. A distributed organisation made it possible to look beyond a single local talent market and provide wide networks of skilled talent.

The requirement was to find people who matched the work and could develop within the team, with a support arrangement that made the remote setup practical over time.

Talentbyte's role

We worked with the client to understand the immediate roles and the longer-term direction, then recruited engineers for the agreed team.

The arrangement expanded to include people working through our Ukraine and Romania locations, alongside fully remote colleagues. Talentbyte supported recruitment, agreements, administration, office and equipment arrangements, and ongoing contact with team members.

The partnership

Our role continued after hiring. We've stayed involved in practical support and conversations about the team, helping the client plan future requirements and address people-related questions as they arose.

The example illustrates how recruitment and ongoing operations work together: people selected for the client's needs, supported through a local and remote arrangement around the team.

In the client's words

“Setting up remote tech teams with Talentbyte has allowed us to choose people that match exactly our requirements. We are able to fill the open positions quickly while also saving money on recruitment and salary costs.”
